Job description

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Start Date: September 21, 2026
  • Assignment: Ongoing
  • Schedule: Monday Friday
  • Shift Options: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
  • No Call
  • Inpatient & Outpatient Coverage
  • EMR: Epic

Practice Details:

  • Average 25 patients per shift
  • Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department
  • Admissions required
  • Stroke Certified, Level I Trauma Center
  • Department supported by:
    • 9 RNs
    • 4 Medical Assistants
    • 2 Advanced Practice Providers
    • 2 Office Staff
  • No supervision of APPs required
  • No resident or teaching responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Active Virginia PA License required at time of submission
  • Board Certified Physician Assistant
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges are not available)
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Additional Information:

  • One provider needed
  • Malpractice insurance provided
  • Standard holiday coverage may be required, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
