A respected Pulmonary & Critical Care team in Newport News, VA is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant to provide overnight ICU coverage.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced critical care APP who enjoys high-acuity medicine, autonomy, and close collaboration with intensivists in a dedicated ICU environment.
The provider will support a 10-bed ICU managing critically ill adult patients overnight, including admissions, cross-coverage, rapid response, and complex ICU care.
This is a true ICU position and is not an outpatient, urgent care, primary care, aesthetic medicine, or clinic-based role.
The ideal candidate will have recent ICU, Critical Care, Hospital Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Pulmonary/Critical Care APP experience and be comfortable independently managing critically ill patients during overnight shifts.
