Opportunity Overview:
Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM), a leading academic health sciences institution committed to advancing health equity and improving health outcomes in diverse communities, is seeking full-time Neurology faculty to join our growing Department of Neurology.
This is an exceptional opportunity to practice in a high-acuity academic environment while providing care to a diverse and medically complex patient population. Faculty will provide clinical care primarily at Grady Health System and/or the Atlanta VA Medical Center while contributing to MSM's academic mission through resident education, medical student teaching, clinical program development, quality improvement, and scholarly activities.
We are actively recruiting physicians across multiple subspecialties and welcome candidates interested in building innovative, mission-driven programs that advance neurological care and academic medicine.

General Neurology:
- Grady-based clinical practice
- Resident clinic precepting and education responsibilities
- Clinical practice within Grady oncology services
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary cancer care programs
- EMG-focused clinical practice
- Opportunities for specialty program development and oncology-related neuromuscular care
- Diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of stroke and cerebrovascular disorders. Clinically, covers acute stroke care, inpatient management, outpatient follow-up, and stroke prevention
Headache Medicine:
- Primarily VA-based faculty opportunity
- Participation in resident continuity clinic and headache specialty clinic
- Epilepsy (Preferred/Optional)
- EEG interpretation
- Participation in epilepsy clinic and program development
- Position Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and/or outpatient neurological care at Grady Health System and/or Atlanta VA Medical Center
- Educate and mentor neurology residents and medical students through clinical supervision, teaching, and curriculum development
- Support the development and growth of subspecialty clinical programs
- Participate in academic activities, including scholarly work, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical innovation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across clinical services
- Support institutional initiatives focused on health equity, community engagement, and workforce diversity
- Participate in departmental call responsibilities as assigned
Faculty will receive an academic appointment at Morehouse School of Medicine with rank commensurate with experience.
