Position Highlights:
- Schedule: 3 weekends per month
- Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM

- Ongoing contract
- 24-hour call shifts
- Average callback: 4 hours per day (including rounding)
Practice Details:
- Hospital-based setting
- Patient population: Adults (18+) including adolescents and geriatrics
- Cases include urgent surgical needs (cath lab to OR when necessary)
- Patients typically transition from ICU to home
- Surgeon available for backup after consult
- EMR: Epic
- Procedures include vein harvesting
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active Pennsylvania license (or willingness to obtain)
- DEA required
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Acute care certification not required
