Facility:This community medical center operates a 22-bed emergency department seeing an annual volume of just over 30,000 patients. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians, featuring a 24/7 cardiac cath lab, tele-stroke services, and broad specialty coverage across most disciplines.
Opportunity:Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:- Provide emergency medicine coverage in a 22-bed community ED with approximately 23 patient encounters per shift
- Coverage required for 11-15 shifts per month (11 on 30-day months and 15 on 31-day months)
- 10-hour shifts with variable shift times including days, evenings, and overnight options
- Shift times are as follows: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a, and 9p-6a
- Physician coverage ranges from single to triple coverage throughout the day
- Must be board certified through ABEM only (ABIM and ABFM credentials will not be accepted)
- Active Washington State license or IMLC required
- Active DEA required
- EMR platform is EPIC
- Level 3 trauma center with tele-stroke services and 24/7 cardiac cath lab on site
- 24-hour support services available including anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic surgery, and radiology
- Providers must have a clean file without NPDB reports or other red flags
- Providers must be able to return a privilege application within 1-2 business days of receipt
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days
- Coverage need begins in September - ASAP onboarding preferred
- Long-term housing assistance available with pre-approval
