Facility:This medical group provides comprehensive women's health services to the Sierra Vista community. The facility features a 7-bed department with a supportive environment focused on delivering quality obstetric and gynecological care to its patients.
Opportunity:Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:- Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with approximately 3 patient encounters per shift
- Manage low risk pregnancies with full delivery services
- Perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps deliveries
- Conduct decision-making for cesarean sections and perform C-sections as required
- Handle complicated deliveries including breech presentations and abruptions
- Manage VBAC cases as required
- Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) interpretation
- Provide surgical gynecology services including open, laparoscopic, and major operative procedures such as ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
- Must hold an active Arizona medical license or IMLC with a clean history
- Board certification required with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 30 days
- Nearest airport is Tucson for convenient travel access
- Locum Tenens assignment starting ASAP on an ongoing basis
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
