Position Overview
We are seeking a Pediatric Physician to provide full-time outpatient coverage at a busy pediatric clinic serving the High Desert community. This is an excellent opportunity for providers interested in a long-term locum assignment, with potential consideration for locums-to-permanent placement if mutually beneficial.
Coverage Dates Start Date: August 1, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Requirements- Active California medical license
- DEA certification required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR strongly preferred (EMR experience required)
Schedule
- Monday Friday
- 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- No call responsibilities
- Full-time coverage required (4 weeks per month)
- Guaranteed 8 hours per day
- Overtime applies after 9 hours worked per day
Patient Volume
- Approximately 25 patients per day
- High-demand clinic with a large pediatric population
- Patient volume may fluctuate due to appointment no-shows
