Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Hematology and Oncology
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology or Oncology
  • Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system and Ai for charting
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex treatment protocols
  • Excellent communication and patient management skills
  • Adaptable and flexible to evolving program needs

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with outpatient and inpatient consults
  • Additional certifications in advanced cancer therapies
  • Proficiency with other electronic health record systems
  • Experience in a fast-growing clinical setting

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical Degree from an accredited institution
  • Active NY Medical License in Hand
  • At least 5 years of post-residency clinical practice in hematology and oncology

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with 1-hour lunch break
  • Ability to handle patient loads of 18-20 per day and occasional inpatient consults
  • Comfortable with cell phone communication and use of Ai for charting
  • Compliance with dress code of professional attire and closed-toed shoes
  • Availability for overtime as needed, and coverage for work hours exceeding 40 per week in accordance with state and federal laws
  • Must not have significant gaps in employment exceeding 30 days, with up-to-date work history and physician statement if malpractice involved
