JOB REQUIREMENTS Active Mississippi Medical License
Board Certified or Board Eligible in EM, FM, or IM
Active DEA with Mississippi Address and Applicable Schedules
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS if not EM Board Certified or EM Trained
Experience: Over 2,000 ED or Acute Care Contact Hours Within the Past 2 Years
Other Qualifications: Completed 3-Year EM, FM, or IM Residency; 40 CME Hours in Previous 2 Years; Case Logs for Previous 2 Years; Supervising/Backup Physician for NP/PAs
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
Perform moderate sedation and emergency procedures
Supervise or provide backup for NP and PA providers
Document patient encounters and coordinate multidisciplinary care
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care
