Assignment Details:

  • Practice Setting: Hospital-Based
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Weekend Call: 24-hour call on Saturdays and Sundays
  • No Weekday Night Call
  • EMR: Cerner
Current Coverage Needs:
  • August 21 August 24, 2026
  • August 28 September 10, 2026
  • September 25 October 8, 2026
Practice Highlights:
  • Endoscopy coverage and inpatient GI consults
  • Approximately 18 outpatient visits and 20 inpatient endoscopy procedures per day
  • Hospital-based practice
  • Strong clinical support from 2 Gastroenterologists and 2 Advanced Practice Providers
  • On-site laboratory and imaging services
Required Procedural Experience:
  • Upper GI Endoscopy (EGD)
  • Colonoscopy
  • Endoscopy procedures
  • Inpatient Gastroenterology consults
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Truly Board Eligible providers will be considered)
  • Active Michigan Medical License and CSR
  • Current ACLS certification
  • DEA required
  • Minimum 2 3 years of post-fellowship experience
  • Clean malpractice and background history
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • Local candidates preferred
