Opportunity for a fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon to build and expand retinal services across a large regional referral area. Collaborate with an experienced ophthalmologist specializing in corneal disease and refractive surgery. Monday through Friday schedule promoting an excellent work-life balance. Shared 1:4 call schedule with light call responsibilities, including occasional trauma coverage. Perform inpatient consultations, emergency department evaluations, and surgical procedures. Dedicated retinal surgery support including an experienced surgical technologist. Access to advanced ophthalmic technology including ultra-widefield imaging with autofluorescence and fluorescein angiography, Zeiss Cirrus 5000 OCT, high-resolution ophthalmic ultrasound, and retinal laser equipment. Practice within a modern acute care hospital offering strong specialty support, hospitalists, dedicated nocturnists, and state-of-the-art surgical facilities.
