Job description


Pediatric Partners, a part of the Sevita family, provides comprehensive in-home and clinic-based therapeutic services for children and young adults. Our teams of compassionate pediatric experts help children with medically complex, developmental, behavioral, educational, or other needs learn the skills they need to thrive. We offer physical, occupational, speech-language and feeding therapy, as well as augmentative and alternative communication.

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Pediatric COTA to provide in-home occupational therapy services in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

What Youll Do

As a Pediatric COTA, you will:


Provide occupational therapy treatment services under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist


Carry out individualized treatment plans to support each childs needs, goals, and family priorities


Provide direct occupational therapy services in the home setting


Support skill development related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, feeding, play, self-care, daily routines, and functional independence


Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with the supervising Occupational Therapist


Recommend strategies and support carryover of therapy goals into daily routines, under the direction of the supervising OT


Partner closely with parents and caregivers to encourage carryover between visits


Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, child-centered care


Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including daily notes and progress updates as required


What Were Looking For

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program


Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Texas


Pediatric experience preferred, but not required


Home health experience is a plus


Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families


A compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented approach to care


Commitment to providing high-quality, family-centered therapy
