We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum opportunity in Pennsylvania. This outpatient-focused assignment offers a flexible schedule ranging from one week per month to full-time coverage, with optional call and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Assignment Details

- Clinic-based practice
Schedule
- Monday Friday
- 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Night and weekend call preferred but not required
Practice Setting
- Outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic
- Level III Pediatrics support
- Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Maternal Fetal Medicine consultations
- Ultrasound performance and interpretation
- Level II targeted ultrasounds
- Fetal echocardiography
- Amniocentesis and genetic procedures
- Management of high-risk pregnancies, including:
- Pregnancy-induced hypertension and HELLP syndrome
- Type I, Type II, and gestational diabetes
- Maternal cardiac, pulmonary, renal, neurologic, autoimmune, and hematologic/oncologic disorders
- Placenta previa and placental abruption
- Multiple gestations
Patient Volume
- Approximately 25 patients per day
- 10-bed department
Team Structure
- 2 Registered Nurses
- 2 Medical Assistants
- 2 Advanced Practice Providers
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand
- DEA required
- BLS required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Strong ultrasound diagnostic skills preferred
Credentialing
- Approximately 90 days
- Temporary privileges available for clean files
