Merit Health Natchez is seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join our inpatient medicine team in either a full-time or PRN capacity. This opportunity includes a clear leadership track with potential progression toward Medical Directorship, offering both clinical practice and professional growth within a supportive hospital environment. Position Highlights
- Compensation: $160/hour (approximately $26,880+ per block)
- Schedule: 7-on / 7-off
- Shift Type: 100% daytime shifts
- Volume: 168 hours/month
- Leadership track opportunity toward Medical Director role
- Flexible FT or PRN structure
- Open ICU
- Procedures required
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Comfortable doing procedures
- Current Mississippi medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Interest in leadership development preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a structured inpatient environment
