Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a high-volume, Level III Trauma Center in Michigan City, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-supported emergency department with advanced clinical capabilities and strong team collaboration.
Facility & Clinical Highlights: - 50,000 annual ED visits
- Level III Trauma Center
- 33-bed Emergency Department with 3 trauma bays
- Specialty care rooms (ENT, Orthopedics, GYN, etc.)
- 13 cardiac-monitor beds
- Scribe support provided
Coverage & Schedule: - 37 hours/day physician coverage
- 36 hours/day NP/PA coverage
- Flexible scheduling
Clinical Responsibilities: - Provide emergency care including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
- Perform procedures including moderate sedation
- Manage high patient volume in a collaborative environment
- Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications: - MD/DO Emergency Medicine
- Board Certified (ABEM/AOBEM) or equivalent experience
- Active Indiana license
- Active DEA with Indiana address
- BLS certification
