Physician Leader Geriatric Service Line Vermont
- A well-established health system in Vermont is seeking a Board-Certified Family or Internal Medicine physician to lead the development of a new Geriatric Service Line. This is a rare opportunity to design and direct a forward-thinking program that integrates clinical excellence, community outreach, and educational support for local providers.
Role Highlights
- Lead a new geriatric program that provides both direct patient care and consultative/educational support
- Oversee program design, clinical operations, and relationship development with key stakeholders
- Serve as a consultative partner to skilled nursing and rehabilitation services
- Collaborate with leadership to build a sustainable, patient-centered model of geriatric care
- Report directly to the Chief Medical Officer
- Practice located in a newly constructed, modern facility
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school; completion of FM or IM residency
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Geriatric fellowship training and certification preferred but not required
- Demonstrated experience with geriatric populations and strong communication skills
