What You ll Do - Provide comprehensive eye exams and assessments within correctional facilities
- Prescribe and fit glasses and contact lenses
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare team members
- Follow all facility-specific protocols and standards of care
- Maintain professional standards associated with correctional health services
What You Need - Valid South Carolina optometry license
- Recent clinical experience in optometry preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adhere to security protocols
- Preferred: prior correctional or community healthcare experience
