Clinical Role
Join a community hospital Emergency Department in Hancock, Michigan, providing Emergency Medicine coverage during a temporary staffing need. This locums opportunity offers 12-hour shifts, a supportive clinical team, and the ability to care for a broad range of emergency patients in a Level III Trauma Center setting. IMLC physicians are welcome.

- Hospital and clinic coverage available seven days per week

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:
- Hospital Emergency Department
- Inpatient and outpatient
Patient Volume:
- Approximately 36 patients per day
Admissions:
- Approximately 3 admissions per shift
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
- Manage acute and chronic emergency conditions
- Perform patient assessments and determine disposition
- Coordinate inpatient admissions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and APP support
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care
- Document patient encounters in Meditech

Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine required
- Active Michigan Medical License required
