Job description

  • Specialty:
    • Anesthesiology
  • Coverage Needs:
    • ASAP - Ongoing
  • Shifts:
    • Weekday 6:30am start time - end time dependent upon OR case volumes
    • On average MDAs work 12 hour shifts
  • Setting:
    • Outpatient Surgery Center
    • Full-scope anesthesia care, including care to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
    • Providers will work inpatient, but will cover both IP/OP surgeries as scheduled.
    • NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia)
  • Census:
    • Patient volume: 3 Rooms, maximum of 4 at one time, Physician Direction Model
    • 20% Inpatient
    • 80% Outpatient
  • Support Staff:
    • CRNAs - Care team model
    • Supervising CRNAs is required
  • Procedures:
    • Procedures: All - Thoracic, Neuro, Cardio, Trauma, Peds, & OB
  • EMR:
    • Epic/Dragon
  • Board Certification:
    • Board Certified or eligibility required
  • Travel:
    • Facility will cover
  • Credentialing timeline:
    • Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAP start
    • Temp priveleges can be requested with clean background
  • Requirements:
    • Active MI state license or IMLC
    • PALS and ACLS through American Heart Association
