Locums - Northampton, Massachusetts CRNA Opportunity

Clinical Role

Join an established anesthesia team in Northampton, Massachusetts, providing locums CRNA coverage in a collaborative hospital setting. This opportunity offers a medically directed care model, a diverse surgical case mix, and the ability to work alongside experienced anesthesiologists and CRNAs.

Assignment Details

Start Date:

  • October 1, 2026

Assignment Length:

  • 26 weeks

Coverage Needed:

  • Part-time with full-time opportunities available

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Two to three 10-hour shifts per week
  • Full 40-hour weeks available on occasion

Care Team Model:

  • Medically directed anesthesia model
  • 1:3 supervision ratio

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Practice Setting:

  • Hospital

Patient Population:

  • Adults
  • Geriatric patients
  • Healthy pediatric patients optional

Anesthesia Team:

  • Eight anesthesiologists
  • Four CRNAs
  • 1:3 supervision model

Procedures & Case Mix:

  • General surgery
  • Plastics
  • Orthopedics
  • Urology
  • Gynecology
  • Endoscopy

Facility Details:

  • Six operating rooms
  • Two to three endoscopy suites

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff
  • Perform anesthesia procedures safely and efficiently
  • Manage patients throughout the perioperative process
  • Document anesthesia care in EPIC

Support & Technology

EMR System:

  • EPIC

Requirements

  • NBCRNA Certification required
  • Active Massachusetts Medical License required
  • BLS Certification required
  • DEA required
  • Minimum one year of CRNA experience required

Credentialing

  • Approximately 90-day credentialing timeframe

Organization & Team

  • Established anesthesia practice
  • Experienced anesthesia physicians and CRNA team
