We are seeking a Board Certified Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist for an ongoing locum opportunity in New Jersey. This hospital-based assignment offers a broad mix of surgical pathology and cytopathology in a collaborative laboratory environment with emergency privileges available.

Schedule
- Monday Friday
- 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Night and weekend call required
Practice Setting
- Hospital laboratory
- Level II Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Surgical pathology sign-out
- Cytopathology sign-out
- Frozen section interpretation
- Rapid Onsite Evaluation (ROSE) of cytology specimens
- Collaborate with a team of experienced pathologists and laboratory staff
Case Volume
- Approximately 9,000 surgical pathology cases annually ( cases/day)
- Approximately 1,000 cytopathology cases annually (3 5 cases/day)
- Approximately 400 FNA cases annually (2 3 cases/day)
Team Structure
- Work alongside three full-time Pathologists
- Dedicated laboratory support staff
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
- Proficiency in:
- Surgical Pathology
- Frozen Sections
- Cytopathology
- Rapid Onsite Evaluation (ROSE)
Ideal Candidate
An experienced AP/CP Pathologist who is comfortable with a balanced mix of surgical pathology, cytopathology, frozen sections, and ROSE in a collaborative hospital laboratory setting.
