An established 140-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital in Valdosta, Georgia is seeking a full-time Adult Psychiatrist.
This is an attending psychiatrist position with no Medical Director responsibilities. The physician will focus primarily on the adult psychiatric population while working alongside nurse practitioners and an established multidisciplinary team.
The facility provides inpatient behavioral health services as well as PHP and IOP programming. Nurse practitioners manage much of the routine day-to-day care, with psychiatrists providing physician-level evaluations, medication oversight, consultation, and support for complex cases.
