We re seeking experienced
Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for a
locum urgent care assignment providing coverage across multiple outpatient clinics in Connecticut; this is a
fast-paced, high-volume setting caring for
pediatric through geriatric patients, with a strong emphasis on
weekend coverage (weekday shifts may also be available) and flexibility to float between nearby sites and adapt to occasional same-day schedule changes. Providers will evaluate, diagnose, and treat common urgent care complaints and minor injuries, perform procedures such as
suturing, wound care, I&D, and splinting , interpret diagnostics as appropriate (including
X-ray/EKG ), and complete documentation in
Epic while maintaining efficient patient throughput.
Requirements include an active
CT NP/PA license ,
CT DEA and CT CSR ,
BLS , board certification as an NP or PA, and recent urgent care/ED/fast-track experience with comfort working independently.
