What You'll Do
- Provide OB/GYN care for a diverse patient population of teenagers and adults
- Support delivery of approximately 1,500 births annually at a community hospital
- Cover 24-hour hospital call shifts in the busy hospital setting
- Conduct outpatient clinics focusing on prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care
- Collaborate with a team of 5 OB providers, midwives, and support staff
- Utilize electronic health records (eClinicalWorks) for documentation
- Perform onsite ultrasound procedures when needed
- Support delivery procedures at a partnering hospital (Good Samaritan)
- Respond to and manage patient cases in a fast-paced environment
What You Need
Required: - Active New York State medical license
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- DEA license
- Minimum 3 years of OB/GYN clinical experience
- Ability to handle 14 patients per day, with care every 30 minutes
Preferred: - Experience with hospital-based obstetric practice
- Comfort with ultrasound procedures
- Flexibility to respond to the 24-hour call schedule
