Endocrinologist Full-Time Onsite Downtown Los Angeles, CA $155-$160/hour (approximately $322,000-$333,000)
A well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Los Angeles is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist for its multidisciplinary outpatient practice. This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive endocrine care to a diverse and medically underserved patient population in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, on a predictable weekday schedule with a manageable patient volume.
Position Highlights
- $155-$160 per hour, approximately $322,000-$333,000 annually
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Outpatient only. No evenings, weekends, or call
- Approximately 16-18 patients per day
- Collaborative multidisciplinary care team
- NHSC-approved site with federal and state loan repayment opportunities
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, and other endocrine conditions
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists
- Educate patients on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modification
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Active DEA registration, or the ability to obtain one
