- Split role: 50% Administrative / 50% Clinical
Overview
Seeking a Chief Dental Officer to lead dental operations across 7 clinic locations while maintaining an active clinical practice.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Oversee 10 Staff Dentists and 15 Dental Hygienists
- Lead provider recruitment and staffing
- Monitor patient access, provider utilization, and referrals
- QA, peer review, grant objectives, and administrative leadership
- Maintain Board of Directors relationships
- Support dental student rotations
Clinical Responsibilities
- See patients/day (including hygiene checks)
- Procedures include:
- Root canals (Endo)
- Crowns
- Bridges
- Dentures & Partials
- General dentistry
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD
- Completion of a GPR or AEGD residency
- Leadership experience preferred
- FQHC, community health, or multi-site leadership experience is a plus
