Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a broad spectrum of emergency medical conditions
- Perform emergency medicine procedures, including moderate sedation
- Provide trauma stabilization and resuscitation as needed
- Collaborate with emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams
- Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record
Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or qualifying equivalent experience
- Active Indiana medical license
- Active Indiana DEA and applicable controlled substance registration
- Current BLS certification
- Recent emergency medicine experience
- Case logs available for credentialing
