Practice & Cases
- Inpatient behavioral health coverage for patients ages 8 and older
- Diagnose psychiatric conditions, perform admission histories, psychiatric assessments, physicals, and daily rounds
- Manage ongoing care through collaboration with supervising psychiatrists
- Work alongside experienced nurses, social workers, recreational therapists, and behavioral health support staff
Schedule
- 20 to 22 shifts per month
- Monday through Friday with one weekend per month
- Day call 1:3 and night/weekend call 1:4
- Scheduled clinical hours with phone and beeper call coverage
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner
- Active Iowa license required
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- BLS and DEA required
