Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Decatur, GA
Overview:
Our well-established rheumatology practice is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality infusion care in a calm, low-volume setting. Our role focuses on safely administering infusion therapies while supporting individualized, patient-centered care. This is an opportunity to use your IV therapy expertise in a flexible, supportive environment.
Position Offers:
- Schedule: Very flexible, part-time
- Permanent position
- Competitive pay: $38 $44 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, initiate, and manage IV infusions per physician orders and protocols
- Perform venipuncture, establish IV access, and draw labs as ordered
- Calculate and administer prescribed IV medications and infusion therapies (injections not required)
- Monitor patients during infusions and document vital signs, responses, and care in the EHR
- Identify and escalate infusion-related reactions or complications
- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards
- Educate patients and families on infusion therapies and at-home care
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Georgia
- Minimum 1 year of IV therapy experience, with strong IV insertion skills
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- IV therapy or infusion certification preferred (e.g., CRNI)
