Job Details:
13-week contract with options to extendSchedule consists of (4) 10-hour shifts per week or (3) 12-13 hour shifts per week plus 1 rotating Saturday each monthWeekly availability required; preference given to candidates who do not rotate weeks on/weeks offAll time off requests must be submitted upfront and approved prior to acceptance; time off requests exceeding 5 consecutive days will not be approved during summer monthsPatient population ranges from age 13 to end of lifeLevel 1 trauma center environment with a large anesthesia team including CRNAs, attending anesthesiologists, and anesthesia residentsAnesthesia team covers 33 main ORs, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3-4 stand-alone GI center roomsPractice settings include inpatient and outpatient; locations include main OR, outpatient surgery center, and endoscopy centerCases excluded from scope include open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and performing peripheral nerve blocksEMR system: EpicHospital bed size: 600 bedsAll CRNA scopes of practice requiredMinimum 2 years of experience required; academic background and Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferredCandidates with outpatient-only experience will be considered, but recent inpatient experience is preferredBoard certification requiredActive Virginia state license requiredACLS and BLS certifications must be valid and completed through the AHAMust reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates will be considered2 professional references or reference contact information must be provided at time of submittalFacility:
