Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patientsProvide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedurePerform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical proceduresManage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical processDeliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teamsMaintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia recordsEnsure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standardsWork 32-40 hours per week on 8 or 10-hour shifts with either Monday or Friday availability required each weekNo on-call duties required; strictly scheduled shiftsWork within a Level II Trauma Center hospital-based settingContribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases across multiple operating rooms with rotating assignmentsRespond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if neededMust be Board Certified CRNA with a minimum of 1 year of CRNA experienceActive Michigan license requiredRequired certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS, and NBCRNAFacility:
