Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
- Full-time position only; 4-5 ten-hour shifts per week with no overtime
- Shift times vary according to daily assignment: 6:15 AM - 4:45 PM, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Medically directed model at a ratio of 1:3 (maximum 1:4)
- Work alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty clinicians to deliver high quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas
- Exposure to diverse and complex patient populations across a wide case mix within a Level I Trauma designated facility
- Special procedures include: Trauma, Neuro & Spine, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular & APS, NORA locations, OB/GYN, General, GI, Pediatrics, Plastics, Ortho, and Robotics
- CRNAs perform epidurals without a doctor present; blocks are not performed by CRNAs
- Skills required: GETA, MAC, Regional, Spinal, and Ultrasound techniques
- Patient population includes all ages
- EMR system: Epic
- Hospital bed size: 593 beds
- Board Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist required
- Active Pennsylvania license or compact license required
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
